Dr. Diane Brzezinski's Office Is Reopening

We will begin seeing some patients in-office with important safety guidelines in place on Tuesday, May 26th


Starting Tuesday, May 26th, we will be reopening the office slowly with strict safety policies in place. With the number of COVID-19 cases escalating daily in Collier County, much thought has been put into a reopening strategy that will keep our patients, their families, and our staff all safe. Our Updated Patient Guidelines:

  • All patients will be screened during the scheduling process and again upon entry. This will include a temperature test.
  • If you have had a fever, cough, positive COVID-19 test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19, or have been on a cruise or have had foreign travel within the past 14 days please let us know. CLICK HERE for a COVID-19 symptom guide.
  • Please try to do as much “paperwork” online as possible. CLICK HERE to access our patient portal where you can complete this work online.
  • In addition to standard forms, all patients must print out our COVID-19 risk informed consent waiver, fill out, sign, and bring it with you to our office. CLICK HERE to access the form. You can also email the completed form to denise@drbnaples.com.
  • All patients are required to wear a mask or face covering upon entry and during the appointment as appropriate. Supplies are extremely limited and we are unable to supply our patients with masks. CLICK HERE for a guide on making your own mask.
  • Please do not arrive with gloves on, you will be asked to remove them.
  • Our staff will be wearing masks and PPE appropriate to the situation.
  • Only patients will be brought into the office. No family members, friends, or children, please. Exceptions may be made for certain patients requiring assistance.
  • Our waiting room will not be open to patients.
  • There will be a sign-in sheet on the front door for each provider. We ask that you print your name on the sheet for the provider that you will be seeing for that visit. When the provider is ready for your appointment, a staff member will either call you or greet you in your car and escort you into the office.
  • Please avoid cash payments if possible. We will have a credit card machine available to swipe your card to minimize handling.
  • Virtual Telehealth appointments are still available for all patients. The CDC is still recommending no nonessential visits in the office for anyone above 60 years of age, and virtual appointments have been a very successful alternative to in-office visits.
  • Appointments will be scheduled to avoid having several patients in the office at once. We also need more time between patients for proper sanitizing.
  • The coffee and beverage station is not available.

As eager as we are to see you all again, it is essential that we keep you and our staff safe. Please be patient with us as this has been an overwhelming situation for all of us, including healthcare professionals. Until we see each other again, please keep yourselves safe and healthy.

About Telehealth Virtual Appointments

Telehealth is now available for new patients and existing patients who wish to schedule a virtual office visit with one of our providers. We are using the secure and private OTTO telehealth system to ensure quality connection and patient information security.

New patients should call our office at 239-261-9990 to put your name on a list and we will get back to you with a schedule of times available!


COVID-19 Testing Info

If you think you might have the virus, follow these instructions:

  • Call Dr. B’s office at 239-261-9990 and a medical assistant will give you a CDC-required questionnaire over the phone to determine if you meet the criteria for testing.
  • If you meet the testing criteria, Dr. B’s office will send a lab order to NCH for the collection of test samples. You will receive a copy of the lab order via email from our office.
  • Once you have received your lab order, you will need to call NCH's centralized scheduling office at 239-624-4443 to schedule an appointment for testing. You can call Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM.
  • Print out your lab order and take it with you to your appointment at NCH’s designated drive-thru testing location: Baker Hospital, downtown, Telford building, first floor, OUTSIDE. Testing begins at 10am each day click here for directions.
    • Note that when NCH receives the lab order from our office, they will do their own assessment to determine if a test will be administered, even if our office has already determined a test is indicated. They have the final word on this, and some patents who arrive for testing may be turned away at the discretion of NCH.
  • If NCH determines that you qualify for testing, they will collect a sample from you and send it off to be tested. The results of the test will be shared directly with Dr. B’s office. We will reach out to you with your test results, and Dr. B’s recommendation for your best course of action.
  • Collection of test samples in Collier County will only be done by NCH; labs like Quest and LabCorp will not be collecting test samples directly.

FROM THE CDC's SYMPTOM GUIDE:

If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19 go to the emergency room immediately. Emergency warning signs include*:

  • Trouble breathing
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion or inability to arouse
  • Bluish lips or face

*This list is not all inclusive, any severe symptoms should be immediately addressed by a medical professional.


Unfortunately, Dr. Brzezinski's office does not have any means to conduct testing, and testing resources are extremely limited at this time. If your symptoms worsen, then please go to the emergency room to be evaluated and/or treated.
